This is the spawn of my Brother-in-Law and Soon to be Sister-in-Law/Best Friend of 8 years.HOW EXCITING!! This little bundle of joy arrived on Saturday morning, my first nephew. I'm an Aunty for the first time, he is so small and soft, with such small wrinkly feet with the littlest finger and toe nails. He is covered in some serious hair and takes after his father in the hairy back department.
It is my first time around a baby, so it is all an amazing wonder to me. I have spent the last 9 months looking at a belly grow and then he pops out (after 22 hours of labor) and now i get to hold him and wonder about what his life will hold. What sports he will play, what will be his favourite colours? Will he like to sew? (maybe not, but you never know!) He has created so many hours of creating random crafty things, though there is definitely a lack on boy-orientated ideas out there, i will have to do something about that!
Here are the proud Uncle and Aunty getting there first hold. He is only about 14 hours old here.

Congratulations! What a beautiful boy. When I became an aunt for the first time, I was only eleven years old. I had no idea how to appreciate a baby. When my last two nieces were born a few years ago, it was so nice to love on those adorable babies. It's amazing how much love you can have for another human being, isn't it?
