My Creative Space - Worlds Coolest Skirt

Good Morning!! (If i say that all cheery maybe it will wake me up :-)

In my Creative Space this week....

Embroidered "Adventures of Bee Girl" Panels

One Finished Mod Podged Box Top.

and most excitingly, some fabric to make the Coolest Skirt in The World. (geee, thats not too much expectation!)

The panel is from the lovely and very talented Red Seed Studio, and i have bought some black twill, it is going to be soooooo cool, so pop back next week and you might see it in progress!

Off to go and check out everyone else and their creative spaces at Kootoyoo. Why don't you join in?

I agree, that WILL be one cool skirt. Beautiful panel of fabric. Makes me think of all things under the sea.

Question - mod podge? I've tried to buy the stuff in Australia to no avail. No one knows what I'm talking about. Is it also known by another name?

Thanks Katy.

Katy, I am really loving seeing all that you are creating right now! Your mind must be swimming in ideas! (Mine is swimming in Hot Wheels, teaching Gabe ABC's, the dramas of having two pre-teens; you get the picture).

I can't wait to get back into being creative. My stolen hours here and there are not enough!

How's Bella? Learning any new tricks?

Ooh goody. I have a panel from red seed studio that I wanted to incorporate into a skirt. Thing is I've never made a skirt and I was impatient to wear it so I made it into a 'panel' that I can wear over skirts!! See here: http://clutterpunk.blogspot.com/2009/05/once-apron-time.html
I'd love to know what pattern you use though so next time I'll actually make a skirt...

Oooh, I'll definately pop back to check out how your skirt is going, that fabric is sensational! It reminds me of all the beautiful seaweeds I saw last week at the aquarium.

I can't wait to see your skirt. The last one I saw that you made was amazing - so I know you have the skills to make the worlds best skirt! What excitement.

You have so much going on - so inspiring to see it all. I bet when you do have kids that you'll be one of those mums who does it all and gets it all done, has a clean house, perfectly beautiful, creatively filled kids, and your own business. (but get started now, before your mind changes to kid mush...).
