I am also making a fabric garland, a smaller table cloth for the nibblies table and little decorations for everyone that will sit on their napkins that they can take how with them to remind them of Christmas 2008.
My SIL and I baked a pudding on the weekend for the first time, very interested to see how that turns out! I am having visions that when we cut into it on Christmas Day uncooked pudding liquid will just come spewing out :-) mmm Delicious!
Do you have any stories of Christmas or even recipe disasters?

Gosh for a first timer you are amazing. It looks fantastic. I cannot wait to see everything once you have done it. What a great idea the reminders of Christmas 08 is. As for the pudding it will taste great anyway it turns out I bet.
Katy, that is gorgeous! You are so talented!
A couple of years ago, I had my first Thanksgiving at our house. I had never made a turkey before. I bought a frozen one, which takes a week to thaw in the refrigerator. I only had four days, so it took FOREVER to cook the darn thing. Every side dish was done way before the turkey...
Still good, but not what I had planned at all.
