Work and Puppy in Progress
Firstly, this is our puppy in progress. she is only 2 weeks old and is still at the breeders. Look at her little tail! Deb the breeder has put in toys with her because she is all by herself, i get to go and see her next weekend, very exciting. We have named her "Bella", a name suggested by Heather, and we thought it was perfect. Deb had nicknamed her "Wonita" she she is the "One-Eater", coz she is all by herself, funny :-)
Some embroidery that i have done to make a card for my husband for valentines done. I downloaded the pattern for free at Sublime Stitching. When i saw it yesterday, i knew it was perfect as this is what my husband says to me all the time. Not your standard lovey dovey crap which is perfect for us! Now i just have to make a card to mount it in.
This is a photo of some embroidery i am doing for some little purses i am going to make. I'm just going around the design on the fabric to give it some detail. I am enjoying embroidery at the moment, and it means that i can sit on the couch and create, instead of sitting at the sewing machine.

Isabel and I are so excited you took our suggestion on your little puppy. Bella is adorable! Can't wait to hear how she does when you bring her home!
I used to love stitching in front of the TV B.C. (before children). After they came, I hated getting interrupted so much, so I gave it up. Really only did counted-cross-stitch, but it was so relaxing...
I love to see your projects. Isabel and I just finished up her handmade Valentines for Valentine's Day. I'll post about them this weekend.
Take care, Katie.
Love how you have embroidered the design on the fabric for the purse - looks really effective!
how'd I miss this post earlier? I just love that card - how great not lovely dovey as you said. Mite have to do it for next year. I used to like to Xstitch pre kids too maybe in a few years I'll be able to start again...
the word verification is 'rest hon' just what you'll be doing real soon in thailand!
hee hee love that card - I have sent the link to bj in dallas who always uses that expression too - clever girl - le xoxo
I too am a fan of the couch stitching, although am so obsessed at the moment it is also tram stitching, train stiching, waiting stitching.....( I have decided that walking stitching is just too dangerous) Love the V day card a beautiful sentiment indeed.
